E agora
Não vais achar nada bem
Que eu pague a conta em raiva!
E pudesse eu pagar de outra forma
Ouvi dizer que o mundo acaba amanhã
E eu tinha tantos planos pra depois!
Fui eu quem virou as páginas
Na pressa de chegar até nós
Sem tirar das palavras seu cruel sentido
Sobre a razão estar cega
Resta-me apenas uma razão
Ora amarga, ora doce,

deep blue something
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart
You'll say the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us
But I know you just don't care
And I said what about "Breakfast at Tiffany's?
She said, "I think I remember the film,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it."
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got."
I see you - the only one who knew me
And now your eyes see through me
I guess I was wrong
So what now?
It's plain to see we're over,
And I hate when things are over
When so much is left undone..

Scouting For Girls - Elvis Ain't Dead
When I was young
I never knew
what's this thing called love
could do to you
but since you been gone
and I've been on my own
I've been feeling quite peculiar
but I'll get by without your smile
I'll get through without you
But I wish it was me you chose
I wish it was me you chose
I wish it was me you chose
I wish it was me you chose cause
Elvis ain't dead
and you're coming back
and Elvis ain't dead
and you're coming back
Oh
Since you've been gone
I can do what I like
but it doesn't mean a lot to me
I'm all shook up
and I'm lonesome tonight
I think I need a love lobotomy
but I'll get by without your smile
I'll get through without you
But I wish it was me you chose
I wish it was me you chose
I wish it was me you chose
I wish it was me you chose cause
Elvis ain't dead
and you're coming back
cause Elvis ain't dead
and you're coming back
Oh no, Oh no, Oh no
You
Me
Maybe
we were never meant to be
Elvis isn't dead
Elvis isn't dead
Elvis isn't dead
cause I heard him on the radio
Elvis isn't dead
Elvis isn't dead
Elvis isn't dead
and you're coming back to me
I know
Elvis isn't dead
Elvis isn't dead
Elvis isn't dead
yes I heard him on the radio
Elvis isn't dead
Elvis isn't dead
Elvis isn't dead
Me
you
chose
I wish it was me you chose
I wish it was me you chose
cause Elvis ain't dead
and you're coming back
and Elvis ain't dead
and you're coming back
And Elvis ain't dead
And Elvis ain't dead
And Elvis ain't dead
And Elvis ain't dead
Elvis has left the building
Thank you and good night

Blue as i am
Won't you sing me the Blues
Won't you sing me the Blues
Sing me something my heart can use
Misery loves a symphony
Does your face, your pretty face get lost in a crowd
And you say no one's there to hear you cry out loud
What will you do, Suzie Blue
Where did you learn to do that so well
Where did you learn to do that so well
I guess that would be like kiss and tell
If it's a secret, why did you show me
But you're far away from the love you used to hold
Don't sit and watch your self
The day is new, Suzie Blue
The day is new, Suzie Blue
Real life has let you down
Real life has let you down
Someone stripped the shoes from your ground
Everybody's always somebody's something
Kisses from heaven in your arms
And we'll make love to the memories
They will always see us new, Suzie Blue
The day is new, Suzie Blue
The day is new, Suzie Blue

Sometimes..
"I just wanna be a woman"
Glory Box
I'm so tired, of playing
Playing with this bow and arrow
Gonna give my heart away
Leave it to the other girls to play
For I've been a temptress too long
Just. .
Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be ee, a woman
I just wanna be a woman
From this time, unchained
We're all looking at a different picture
Thru this new frame of mind
A thousand flowers could bloom
Move over, and give us some room
Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be ee, a woman
I just wanna be a woman
So don't you stop, being a man
Just take a little look from our side when you can
Show a little tenderness
No matter if you cry
Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be ee, a woman
Its all I wanna be is all woman
For this is the beginning of forever and ever
Its time to move over... ...

Thought
Miguel Esteves Cardoso
Song in my head to cheer me up
Well sometimes I go out by myself and I look across the water
And I think of all the things, what you're doing and in my head I make a picture
'Cos since I've come on home,
well my body's been a mess
And I've missed your ginger hair and the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over,
stop making a fool out of me
Why won't you come on over Valerie, Valerie?
Did you have to go to jail,
put your house on up for sale,
did you get a good lawyer?
I hope you didn't catch a tan,
I hope you find the right man who'll fix it for you
Are you shopping anywhere,
changed the colour of your hair, are you busy?
And did you have to pay the fine you were dodging all the time
are you still dizzy?
Yeah
'Cos since I've come on home, well my body's been a mess
And I've missed your ginger hair and the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over,
stop making a fool out of me
Why won't you come on over Valerie, Valerie.
Valerie,Valerie?
Well sometimes I go out by myself and I look across the water
And I think of all the things, what you're doing and in my head I make a picture'
Cos since I've come on home,
well my body's been a mess
And I've missed your ginger hair and the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over,
stop making a fool out of me
Why won't you come on over Valerie, Valerie.
Valerie,Valerie?

Saturday night fever.. and movies
fonte: Outnow

Fever
Foi a soundtrack do meu dia
Never know how much I love you,
Never know how much I care.
When you put your arms around me,
I get a fever that's so hard to bear.
You give me fever,
When you kiss me,
Fever when you hold me tight.
Fever! In the morning,
Fever all through the night.
Sun lights up the daytime
And moon lights up the night..
I light up when you call my name
And you know I'm gonna treat you right
You give me feverWhen you kiss me, Fever when you hold me tight.
Fever! In the morning, and fever all through the night
Everybody's got the fever
That is something you all know
Fever isn't such a new thing
Fever started long ago
Romeo loved Juliette
Juliette she felt the same
When he put his arms around her he said,
"Julie, Baby , you're my flame
"Thou giveth fever
"When we kisseth
"Fever with our flaming youth
"Fever! I'm afire,
"Fever, yea, I burn, forsooth."
Cap'in Smith and Pocahontas had a very mad affair
When her daddy tried to kill him
She said,
"Daddy, no, don't you dare!
"He gives me fever
"With his kisses
"Fever when he holds me tight
"Fever! I'm his mistress, So
"Daddy, Won't you treat him right?"
Now you've listened to my story,
Here's the point that I have made:
Chicks were born to give you fever,
Be it Fahrenheit of Centigrade
They give you fever
When you kiss them
Fever if you live and learn
Fever ! till you sizzle
what a lovely way to burn
what a lovely way to burn
what a lovely way to burn
what a lovely way to burn
Day off
"Fever is a good thing. It's your body's attempt to kill off invading bacteria and other nasty organisms that can't survive the heat. The hypothalamus, which is the body's thermostat, senses the assault on the body and turns up the heat much the way you turn up the thermostat when you feel cold.
It's a simple defense mechanism, and the sweat that comes with a fever is merely a way to cool the body down. It used to be standard medical practice to knock that fever out as quickly as possible. Not so anymore. The value of fever is recognized, and since a fever will usually subside when the infection that's causing it runs its course, modern thinking is to ride out that fever, especially if it stays under 102 degrees F in adults.
If a fever is making you uncomfortable, however, or is interfering with your ability to eat, drink, or sleep, treat it. Your body needs adequate nutrition, hydration, and rest to fight the underlying cause of the fever."
Hoje o meu dia foi então dedicado à febre :(

Song in my head VI
The Killers - Read My Mind
On the corner of main street
Just tryin' to keep it in line
You say you wanna move on and
You say I'm falling behind
Can you read my mind?
Can you read my mind?
I never really gave up on
Breakin' out of this two-star town
I got the green light
I got a little fight
I'm gonna turn this thing around
Can you read my mind?
Can you read my mind?
The good old days, the honest man;
The restless heart, the Promised Land
A subtle kiss that no one sees;
A broken wrist and a big trapeze
Oh well I don't mind, if you don't mind
Cause I don't shine if you don't shine
Before you go, can you read my mind?
It's funny how you just break down
Waitin' on some sign
I pull up to the front of your driveway
With magic soakin' my spine
Can you read my mind?
Can you read my mind?
The teenage queen, the loaded gun;
The drop dead dream, the Chosen One
A southern drawl, a world unseen;
A city wall and a trampoline
Oh well I don't mind, if you don't mind
Cause I don't shine if you don't shine
Before you jump;
Tell me what you find
When you read my mind
Slippin [...]
He never returned that call
Woman, open the door, don't let it stay
I wanna breathe that fire again
She said I don't mind, if you don't mind
Coz I don't shine if you don't shine
Put your back on me
Put your back on me
Put your back on me
The stars are blazing like rebel diamonds cut out of the sun
When you read my mind

Song in my head V
When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse.
When the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
"Just what your worth"
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream, down on your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face and I...
Tears stream, down on your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face and I...
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.

Swim, swim, swim, sw..
And I can't walk out until I collect the missing clues
It's you, it's you..
And I worked to make it work
And I let myself get hurt
And kept sinking deep in you
All of my friends keep telling me that "There's nothing to it"
But if this is love, it ain't enough
And I can't go through with
it can't keep it up
We're at the party, they're playing the songs
And we're right here
But we never get to dance
We just sit and stare
I've sorted it out
Like they say "you know...lo_ove bu_urns"
Like most good things do
But then it's you
It's you on my window,
It's you on my hallway,
It's you on the rearview mirror talking,
It's you on the radio in all the songs we've been through

Life
